On October 7, the Virgen del Rosario (Virgin Lady of the Rosary), the patron saint of Fuengirola, is taken out in procession. At midday, and after a flamenco Mass, it comes out on to the streets of a city in full celebration of the Feria del Rosario (Rosary Fair).
The procession of the Virgen del Rosario is one of the highlights of the festivities honouring the patron saint of Fuengirola (which is also celebrated with bullfights, horse shows and a Fair in her honour). All this happens in parallel, during a long week starting on October 4 and ending on the 12th, in which the entire city of Fuengirola takes to the streets to enjoy its big festival. |

Cómo llegar
Fuengirola está muy bien comunicada gracias a su proximidad a Málaga (apenas 30Km por la autovía A-7) y a la infraestructura de que goza la Costa del Sol:
